Suman (Sodnomdarjaa) Barkhas, born in Mongolia, has traveled as a yoga monk throughout forty-six countries. Suman Barkhas currently resides in Eugene, Oregon, working as a holistic wellness coach.
Suman first recieved training in yoga and tai chi in Mongolia and China. He Studied with Tai Chi masters Dr. Paul Lam and Jan Gun De, of Beijing University. Suman took initiation in tantra meditation in 1991 and in 1993 took sannysain training in Benares, India and in Ydresfors, Sweden. Following this training he taught yoga and promoted social service throughout Asia, Europe, Scandinavian countries and the United States. Suman has studied and practiced yogic philosophy, devotional chanting, meditation, yoga purification practices, and yoga therapy. Suman Barkhas is the founder of the Shantalaya Center (“adobe of peace”), Holistic Healing Institute (http://www.holistichealinginstitute.org), and the Tai Chi Yoga Center in Eugene, Oregon.
Suman presently teaches about 28-30 classes a week focusing in yoga, meditation, tai chi, qigong, and yoga therapy. Suman is also director of the Yoga school by national Yoga Alliance "Holistic Yoga Teacher Training" of 200 hours and "Yoga Therapy" 300 hours certification programs. Tai Chi - Moving for Better Balance instructor trainer for the state of Oregon fall and prevention program, as well as provide therapeudic Tai Chi and Yoga for private clients. Now he works part time teaching "Holistic Health" program at Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute affiliated with Peace Health.

Dr. Grace Bullock is a true mind-body practitioner with extensive training and experience in both Eastern and Western healing traditions. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2002 and has worked with clients of all ages and stages of life including children, adolescents, couples, families and the elderly in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings. Dr. Bullock has worked with numerous therapeutic modalities (Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral, Behavioral, Family Systems, Multi-systemic etc.) and has a strong background in neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Bullock is a research scientist, and functioned as an investigator on a number of longitudinal intervention trials and is currently the principal investigator for a clinical intervention with single, first-time disadvantaged mothers of toddlers using an integrated therapeutic model testing the effectiveness of combining western therapy with eastern principles of yoga, breath-work and meditation funded by The Mind and Life Institute. Dr. Bullock's experience and work as a scientist insure that her practice is based on scientific inquiry and integrity, and her methods are consistent with the latest clinical research.
Dr. Bullock is a dedicated educator. As faculty at the College of Education at the University of Oregon she has taught doctoral level classes in topics including Developmental Psychopathology, Cognition Emotion and Motivation, Social Development, and writing scientific papers and grants. She has instructed undergraduate level classes on various psychological topics and provided numerous guest lectures. She brings her knowledge effective educational principles into the classroom whether teaching didactic topics or yoga poses. Dr. Bullock believes that knowledge is to be shared and is committed to passing on instructional gems.
In her postdoctoral work, Dr. Bullock studied human anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, and motor control. Her keen interest in the mind-body connection led her to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and Certified Viniyoga Therapist. She currently teaches therapeutic and advanced level classes at the Downtown Athletic Club, Eugene Yoga and the Lane Community College Employee Wellness Program in Eugene, Oregon. Dr. Bullock's fascination with the effects of yoga sparked her interest in using the principles of yoga for healing of musculo-skeletal, physiological as well as psychological illness. She a Certified Viniyoga Therapist (RYT-500) trained by world renown teacher Gary Kraftsow, Director and Founder of the American Viniyoga Institute. As a Yoga Alliance Certified Viniyoga Therapist (RYT-500) experienced yoga instructor, and member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), Dr. Bullock draws on over 5,000 years of Vedic tradition in the art and science of Yogic healing practices, integrated with knowledge regarding Ayurvedic principles related to health and wellness. She is also working toward certification as a Reiki Master, to offer her clients greater access to their energetic selves in their process of discovering health and wellness in their lives. Dr. Bullock strongly believes that each of us has tremendous ability to heal our physical, emotional, and physiological wounds and behavior patterns that prevent us from reaching the happiness and peace that each individual seeks. Through her continued education in the realms of mind, body, and spirit, as well as extensive study of spiritual theology of major religious traditions, Dr. Bullock offers you expertise to unite these aspects of yourself into a cohesive whole. She has taught yoga in Germany, Italy, Korea, Japan, and the U.S. She has studied many practical and philosophical approaches to yoga. Keith is a Physical Therapist with over 21 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy. He earned his B.S. in Physical Therapy in1988 from Old Dominion University, and completed a Masters in Health Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1999 at the University of Indianapolis.
Keith began practicing yoga in late 2005 after hearing so many of his patients say, "Hey, this is just like a pose I do in yoga." When asked about his yoga practice, he usually says something like, "In the time I've been doing yoga, every bit of opening and strengthening of my physical body has been matched by an opening and strengthening of my mind and heart.

Kamala Quale is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. Her background includes personal study and practices from both China and India, including classical Chinese medicine, yogic meditation, asanas, and qigong.
Kamala is also a bodymind counselor and health and wellness coach. She helps her clients relieve pain and unlock hidden issues in physical and emotional distress. She guides them to build resources, recognize blind spots, soothe emotional stress, and find meaning in the healing journey.
